Who Are We?

It all started 82 years ago in Nebraska... nah, I'm kidding. I am Joel Manning; I live in the Ogden area of Utah and enjoy music, the outdoor, and as you have probably already guessed, technology. Having worked in that industry for some time, now, and seeing the unruly and unscupulous things going on (especially in the realm of the giants), I felt like I couldn't just stand by and silently let it happen passively; and that's about the time I decided to setup this whole gig. With just enough knowledge of how to code a basic website, and more than enough knowledge of how to setup my own home networkwork infrastructure, I established this site to be a place people can come to find answers and seek knowledge where I can find it.

In addition to that, I also decided to start recording a weekly blog on things I felt important to share. If you are aren't a fan of any of it, no worries, that's fine, and frankly, even good. But I figured I should try and be a voice for good in this world, whether I'm very good at it or not. This website, along with other subdomains, is a continual work in progress, and is being upheld and hosted by a one-man team whose profession lies more heavily in network architecture than in website coding.

Also, if you don't know what medjo pangit means, it's a slang spelling of the words medyo pangit, which means, in Tagalog, kinda ugly. The backstory of that name has a rather silly origin, but it's too long to recount here. In any case, I hope you find something good today, whether it comes from my website or not. Have a good one!
