I found two more reasons to dislike Windows this week.

For one thing, they totally just non-chalantly stole my data from Firefox and put it in Edge. Sadly, that's nothing new (seriously, are there any red flags Windows doesn't wave anymore?), but I was pretty upset, all the same. On top of that, I had to reimage a laptop with Windows and had to go out and find the specific driver for the NVMe that originally came with it. Normally, I'd blame HP for that, but Linux loaded just fine and found the drivers on its own... not like silly Windows. Seriously folks, consider switching off data-munching giant Microsoft- distro's like PopOS and even basic Ubuntu aren't all that bad!

Fine, Windows-hate rant over. It was actually a pretty cool week. One of the highlights was my bike ride, yesterday. I went to the same place as I did the last time I went out, and by golly was it awesome. The roads were new snow-packed and perfect for cross-country skiing (and adequate for mountain biking, surprisingly). I started fairly late in the day, so I didn't have much time, nor did I go all that far- but the view alone was worth it: frozen, snowy backcountry, with a quiet stream running along the path, and a faint hint of the sun on the other side of the mountains, setting rapidly in the west. It was just so pristine and beautiful. And I only biffed it once; which worked out pretty well, since snow is more forgiving than dirt or pavement. But man, what a scenic view it was.

Well, I can think of no big message to leave this week, other than enjoy those weeks between- it really is the small things. Ciao!
