To be honest, it's been a slower week for me. Well, mostly. In any case, I just spent more of my time this week relaxing and spending time with my wife, and putting off the ever mounting task of organizing my backlog of old data files. One day here, soon, I'll do it... soon. Yeah.
But the most busy things I've had this week was cutting over a new client we got onboard at work, and setting up their main site with a robust network, as well as a smaller site of theirs. It was good fun for me, though it took a good chunk of time between two days. And during that time, I discovered my sweet car had a nail a tire- which tires I bought less than a year ago, so that was a huge bummer.
On the plus side, I got to hang out with a close friend this week- it was great to catch up and chill. Also caught up with an old close friend. It's always good to catch up with an old friend! (with some exclusions, but that goes without saying). But alas, there's not much to say on a mid-January week for me. Then again, I was reminded (by the same old friend previously mentioned) that a gratitude journal is a good thing to keep. I tend to be good at keeping a regular journal, but alas, I have come to realize my gratitude levels might not be as... high... as they should be. So, why not start here?
I'm thankful for good friends and family; mine may be a little broken, but I'm glad I have them, nonetheless!
I'm grateful for a God who looks out for me and my little family from day to day, and for the knowledge I have of him.
I'm thankful for rhythm- the idea that changes in our life come, but that some changes are consistent, like the seasons, and that there is beauty and variety in this world.
So there you have it, three things I'm grateful for. See what three you come up with this week. Hanggang sa susunod na linggo!
